Design Thinking is an innovation process.  It takes “wicked problems” (human-centered with no linear way to resolve them) and uses a process that explores

  • What is (really understanding current reality)
  • What if (envisioning a new future)
  • What wows (making choices)
  • What works (putting it into action)

Underneath all of these steps is an insatiable curiosity to understand the real issue (not just what is presented to us).  I will walk through how these steps are applied using two real-life examples, reinforcing that the best answers, and the only good answers, come from asking questions, widening your possibilities and learning how to make the right choices and put them into action.  This ties in with core competencies of Communicating Effectively (active listening and powerful questioning) and Facilitating Learning and Results (creating awareness, designing actions, planning and goal setting, managing progress and accountability)

No Registration fee. Bring your own lunch.
