There are thousands of coach training programs, but ICF can help you narrow your search. More than 220 programs have gone through rigorous reviews and demonstrate they align with ICF’s Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Apply for an ICF Credential

Achieving credentials through ICF - the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program - not only makes a coach more marketable in a competitive market, but also signifies a coach’s commitment to integrity, an understanding of coaching skills and a dedication to clients. ICF Credentials are awarded to professional coaches who meet stringent education and experience requirements and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies. All ICF Members are provided complete information about the ICF Credentialing Program, including ICF’s individual credentialing and Coach Training Programs. Coaching Research

ICF seeks to facilitate the exchange of information among researchers and practitioners studying coaching theory, methodologies, and outcomes. ICF Members have access to all materials available in the ICF Research Portal and receive discounts when purchasing research reports sold by the ICF.
