Biography
Leigh is recognized for her accomplishments as a Human Resources champion, mediator, facilitator and public speaker. She is a forward-thinking HR and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consultant with expertise in coaching executives on organizational strategies to enhance diverse working relationships which may ultimately increase workforce productivity. Extensive private and public sector experience in areas of health care, taxation, transportation and university settings. Leigh began her career in HR at Emory University of Atlanta, GA and later relocated to Richmond, VA where she served as the Employment director of the Medical College of Virginia. Afterwards she made a career move to state government and served as senior HR Consultant of various agencies. Leigh is a subject-matter expert in the design of programs to build collaborative teams; facilitate cultural sensitivity training; and provide guidance on problem-solving using alternative dispute resolution techniques or conducting internal complex investigations. She obtained her Master's degree in Adult Education/Human Resource Development from Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond, VA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University of Murfreesboro, TN. Leigh is actively involved in community service as a child advocate of Henrico County Juvenile and Domestic Relations court.
