We all know about the benefits of physical fitness and health, but what about mental fitness? Why is mental fitness equally as important? Mental fitness is the capacity to respond to life’s challenges with positive rather than negative emotions. Strong mental fitness increases an individual's capacity for being aware and thinking more effectively and creatively. Building on recent discoveries in neuroscience, including neuroplasticity, we have greater understanding on how the brain works to create positive change and mental fitness.
In this highly interactive ICF Virginia Presentation, we will take a deeper dive into the latest research and findings in applied neuroscience and neuroleadership to help coaches understand the fundamentals of mental fitness operating system, the brain’s ability to make new connections, how clients gain access to pathways associated underlying trust, attention, and habit formation. Coaches will come away with practical tools and techniques to share immediately with their clients.
